Sharing Friendships and Knowledge

The Hervey Bay Woodcrafts Club was founded on a steering Committee in Oct. 1992 and the first committee of management was elected on the 20th of March 1993. Members formed the Club with a common interest in all forms of Woodworking, Scroll Saw (Fretwork) and Pyrography (Pokerwork).

The club welcomes all beginners to the Crafts. Between the members there are many years of experience which others may call on. The club is now equipped with 6 Lathe's and a mobile workshop, and additional machinery is being added to the workshop as the club progresses.

Club Meetings
The club meets Monday 9am to 12 noon
Wednesday 9am to 12 for Club work and Lathe work only (Beginners)
Wednesday nights 7pm to 9pm
Friday 9am to 1w noon.

We also run a special workshop Monday afternoon at the club and with our mobile workshop we now do a workshop at the Endeavor foundation in Maryborough. The mobile workshop is also available for demonstrations at primary schools and retirement villages.

Everyone is most welcome to come along to see how we operate. If you have an interest in any form of woodwork, or would like to learn, or assist us with your skills, then come along and get to know us and enjoy the Social and friendly atmosphere which the Club promotes.
